250 Hi-tech manufacturing & ICT jobs announced in Connemara & Dublin.
Aran Biomedical (a client company of Údarás na Gaeltachta – promoting investment in Gaeltacht areas) said its new highly skilled jobs will be in the production, engineering, quality and supply chain management parts of the business.
Albany Beck an international banking consultancy based in Dublin, is to create new roles in the areas of software development, software engineering, cloud services, machine learning/AI/automation, know your customer (KYC) and transaction management.
Demand for ICT skills remains very strong and companies are finding it hard to fill vacancies with indigenous workers – according to the National Skills Bulletin 2020 the ICT sector issued 4.7k work permits from outside EEA in 2019.
